Most “best of” lists on the internet are written by one person, once, and never touched again. You read them, you buy the thing at number one, and you never find out whether anyone else agreed.
UpvoteRank works the other way round. Every list here is ranked by the people who use it. You vote up the things you’d recommend to a friend, you vote down the ones that let you down, and the order changes the moment you do. No account, no email, no paywall.
What you’ll find here
Ranked lists across the things people actually argue about: wireless earbuds and air fryers, LEGO sets and board games, sci-fi shows, video games, hiking gear and a lot more. Each list starts with a hand-picked set of entries, and from there the votes decide.
If something is missing from a list, you can suggest it. We read every suggestion and add the ones that fit.
Why votes instead of reviews
A single reviewer can test a product for a week. A few thousand people have lived with it for years. Neither is perfect, but the second one is much harder to fake and much closer to what you’ll experience after the box is opened. Votes also move: when a newer model comes out and turns out to be better, the ranking shows it without anyone having to rewrite an article.
Keeping it fair
A ranking is only useful if it’s honest, so we put some effort into keeping it that way. One person gets one vote per item, repeated votes from the same network are limited, and automated traffic is filtered out. You can read the details on how voting works.
Some links on UpvoteRank are affiliate links, which is how the site pays its bills. That never decides where something ranks. The votes do. Our editorial guidelines and affiliate disclosure explain exactly how this works.
